The primary role of the engineering assistant will be toassist Mach85’s engineers at UNB’s Ballistic and Mechanical Test Lab. This is a great opportunity to workin a unique and exciting environment. The test lab performs testing for large aerospace and defence clients involving shooting a variety of projectiles from subsonic speeds to hypervelocity speeds up to 8 km/s. The chosen candidate will be exposed to cutting edge engineering technologies. The job will require a mixture of strong analytical skills as well as hands on work. The use of power tools will be required along with the ability to lift at least 20 lbs.
