TRONOSJET MAINTENANCE IS LOOKING FOR AN AEROSPACE TECHNICIAN

WHO IS TRONOSJET MAINTENANCE?

Founded in 2001, Tronos is an aircraft leasing, major modification centre and aircraft maintenance services provider.  Tronos provides both routine and heavy maintenance on our own fleet and for third parties and is able to carry out specialist conversion and modification work. Aerospace technicians will report the Maintenance Manager.

THIS IS WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Aerospace Technicians repair, overhaul, modify and test aircraft engines and structures as well as mechanical and hydraulic systems. They inspect aircraft or aircraft engines and systems following manufacture, modification, maintenance, repair and overhaul manuals.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

High School Preparation: you need a minimum of Grade 12 education and emphasize on math, physics and English

WHAT MAKES A SUCCESSFUL AEROSPACE TECHNICIAN

If you’re fascinated with aviation, you’re mechanically inclined, and you’ve got a strong desire to work with your hands, you might be destined for a high-flying career as a quality technician/inspector. What you need is an appreciation for how important the growing industry of aerospace is to PEI, and a strong desire to become an integral part of its growth. Anyone interested in pursuing a career as an Aerospace Technician should possess the following capabilities:

  • Good manual dexterity
  • Excellent Mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work well both independently and in team environments.
  • Ability to select, interpret and follow instructions and procedures.
