Job Description:
Company Information: Action Aero Inc. specializes in the maintenance and manufacturing of fuel, oil, and air related engine accessories installed on the PT6A, PT6T, PW100, JT15D, LF502/507 and RR250 engines.
Duties (including but not limited to):
- Plan, organize, direct, and control all production activities
- Ensure operations are carried out in an appropriate and cost-effective way
- Improve operational management systems and processes
- Manage resource allocation based on first in first out production system
- Coach self-directed work teams to implement process improvements to increase customer satisfaction
- Monitor, and identify new, daily and monthly KPI’s to ensure continuous improvement and site performance
- Lead New Product Introduction activities to expand company capabilities
- Lead identification and implementation of repair development opportunities to reduce costs
- Facilitate communication within work teams and act as a Liaison between work teams and management
- Assist with planning and implementing strategic and operational objectives

Required Skills:
Qualifications (Skills/Knowledge):
- 5 years experience managing production aerospace environment or a similar role
- Strong technical background using manuals and other OEM technical data
- Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
- Familiarity with business and financial principles
- Excellent leadership skills
- Degree in Business from an accredited University or College considered an asset
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office, etc.)
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Lean and Six Sigma certifications required
