Job Description:
Company Information:  Action Aero Inc. specializes in the maintenance and manufacturing of fuel, oil, and air related engine accessories installed on the PT6A, PT6T,  PW100, JT15D, LF502/507 and RR250 engines.

Duties (including but not limited to):

  • Plan, organize, direct, and control all production activities
  • Ensure operations are carried out in an appropriate and cost-effective way
  • Improve operational management systems and processes
  • Manage resource allocation based on first in first out production system
  • Coach self-directed work teams to implement process improvements to increase customer satisfaction
  • Monitor, and identify new, daily and monthly KPI’s to ensure continuous improvement and site performance
  • Lead New Product Introduction activities to expand company capabilities
  • Lead identification and implementation of repair development opportunities to reduce costs
  • Facilitate communication within work teams and act as a Liaison between work teams and management
  • Assist with planning and implementing strategic and operational objectives
$70K – $95K
 Available after 6 months probation.
Required Skills:
Qualifications (Skills/Knowledge):

  • 5 years experience managing production aerospace environment or a similar role
  • Strong technical background using manuals and other OEM technical data
  • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
  • Familiarity with business and financial principles
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Degree in Business from an accredited University or College considered an asset
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office, etc.)
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Lean and Six Sigma certifications required
