The successful candidate will lead the design and development of the web-based technologies that power RemoteSpark. This role will be instrumental in building the REST API and web-based version of RemoteSpark.

The role will focus on:

Maintaining and extending the REST API used by the RemoteSpark client.

Build the web-based client with close feature parity of the desktop/HoloLens client.

Maintain the web-based WebRTC functionality with the desktop/client application.

Ensure the web application is secure and scalable. The system will be rigorously tested for security and scalability to maintain our enterprise and security certifications.

The web application is the foundation of application integration and device profiles including but not limited to MS Teams and RealWear.

The web application needs to work with modern browsers on mobile and desktop plus maintain compatibility with MS Teams and RealWear.

Building a lightweight solution suited for ultra-low bandwidth environments.

This role is very challenging but if you like to dig deep into technology and constantly be learning this role is perfect for you. We’re looking for someone to take ownership of this section of the overall system and be consistently improving the product.

 

5+ years of sophisticated enterprise-grade web application development

Deep understanding of server software development and deployment on servers and cloud instances

Understanding of information security best practices concerning web applications

Driven to create the best experience for our users
