L & A Metalworks is looking for a Steel Fabricator(s) to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively in English;

- Knowledge of safe operation of basic hand and power tools;

- Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures;
- Ability to learn quickly;
- Standing for extended periods of time;

- Operate basic hand tools and power tools;

- Work in a fast-paced environment;
- Hand-eye coordination;
- Provide assistance on various tasks and assignment;
- Duties are varied and may include activities that assist other departments, such as cleaning, sweeping, mopping, assembling, lifting, moving;
- Reports to the shop supervisor.

- C.W.B Welding Certification (current) considered an asset;

- Blueprint reading, identifying weld symbols;
- Must include references with resume.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $16.00-$22.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Experience:
- Steel Fitting: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Steel Fab Red Seal (preferred)
- CWB Certification (preferred)
