Job Title:  Supply Chain Team Leader
Date:         July 11 to July 22
Salary:      $60K-95K


Company Information: Action Aero Inc. specializes in the maintenance and manufacturing of fuel, oil, and air related engine accessories installed on the PT6A, PT6T, PW100, JT15D, LF502/507 and RR250 engines

Duties (including but not limited to):

  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate procurement activities
  • Prepare and issue Purchase orders and subcontract orders
  • Lead the competitive bid process, compile and review supplier proposals and participate in making award recommendations
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions, pricing and payment terms with the suppliers
  • Drive improved supplier performance for key strategic suppliers
  • Manage and monitor supply chain KPIs to establish controls and assist in periodic monitoring and review of supplier performance
  • Expedite goods and services as required, to ensure timely deliveries and payments
  • Monitor inventory and write orders to refill stock
  • Launch manufacturing orders to ensure timely delivery to end customer
  • Monitor OEM Portal to forecast material and deliveries
  • Monitor reorder points to ensure sufficient inventory levels that support TAT and inventory targets
  • Support Shipping & Receiving team as needed

Qualifications (Skills/Knowledge):

  • Minimum 2 years procurement experience preferably in a multi-project aerospace environment.
  • A professional designation Certified Professional Purchaser (C.P.P.) or registration in the educational program in Purchasing Management considered an asset
  • Excellent knowledge of competitive bidding process, contract administration and purchasing best practices.
  • Ability to negotiate with Suppliers (pricing, terms, credit, delivery, etc)
  • Advanced computer skills (MS office etc)
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Team Player with positive attitude
  • Lean and Six Sigma certifications considered an asset
