Technical Sales Representative – Welding
The ideal candidate possesses:
- In-depth knowledge of the welding process and conventional equipment
- Proactive, self-motivated, and a professional self-starter
- Outgoing and persuasion skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Post-Secondary education would be considered an asset
Responsibilities of the Technical Sales Representative will include:
- Provide technical knowledge of welding process to fabrication and manufacturing end users
- Utilize your knowledge across the organization by providing technical support to our Outside Sales Representatives and Account Managers
- Develop a growth strategy to grow the welding vertical
- Build long term strategic customer relationships
- Foster welding vendor relationships to drive growth
- Manage customer expectations, cost savings, and business process improvements
- Attend tradeshows and conferences that pertain to the welding market
