ACENET provides local R&D support in Atlantic Canada through access to our high performance computing (HPC), graphical processing unit (GPU), big data and cloud computing resources, storage, and file transfer systems for terabytes of data.
Our team of 14 technical staff located throughout the region provides consulting expertise and support to help determine needs, install and configure software, optimize code to run on the systems, migrate data, schedule jobs effectively, and general troubleshooting – everything needed to get you up and running.
We also offer a host of scheduled, as well as custom training workshops from novice to advanced in the use of supercomputing systems.
These computing resources address needs that are beyond the capabilities of a typical desktop computer, such as complex numerical modelling, handling large and varied data sets, running large-scale simulations and doing machine and deep learning.
