The Goose Bay Airport is a major international airport located on the East Coast of Canada, more specifically in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Labrador. With all the navigational aids accompanied by the world’s most technologically sophisticated air traffic control radar system, the airport not only serves commercial customers and the travelling public, but is open 24 hours a day providing emergency response services.
The airport handles an average of 160,000 passengers a year through the air terminal building (which houses three air carriers, a coffee shop, a gift shop, and three car rental agencies). The Goose Bay Airport Corporation also regulates the activities at Otter Creek, a water drone located 7 km from the main airport.
