Trecan, a Small-Medium Enterprise (SME) is a specialty design, manufacture and integration company based in Nova Scotia.
For the past thirty-five (35) years, Trecan has specialized on manufacturing world class Snowmelting machines and has delivered over 1,000 units world wide. These units are in operation at secure military sites, airports, cities, property owners and snow contractors. Trecan’s Snowmelters offer many advantages including eliminating traffic flow to secure facilities, increased cost savings versus conentional trucking of snow to snow dumps, and the highest efficiency in the indistry (over 98%).
The Trecan facility includes 50,000 sq ft for fabrication and 13 acres of laydown inside a secure fenced area.
The Prinicipal Products and Services are Specialty fabrication, including design and integration,
portatble and stationary Snowmelting units, Incinerators, Burners, Heaters, Vaporizers, and Inert Gas Generators.
