The University of New Brunswick (UNB) is the oldest English-language university in Canada, with some of the finest research and teaching programs in the nation. UNB has over 3,000 faculty and staff and offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in more than 60 disciplines, as well as continuing education in a variety of fields. Over half of all research conducted in New Brunswick happens at UNB, making it the largest R&D institution in the province. Strong engineering, science and computer science programs make our skills relevant to the technology needs of industry. Together, working with government, industry, non-government organizations and international institutions, the research undertaken by UNB plays an integral role in the development of New Brunswick, Canada and beyond. The link between UNB researchers and their partners is the Office of Research Services, which provides support to researchers, encourages and facilitates partnerships, and facilitates technology and knowledge transfer.
