L3 Technologies has a strong footprint in Canada. Our six Canadian Divisions leverage the expertise of more than 2,200 employees to deliver industry-leading innovations, system integration support and state-of-the-art technologies in Canada and across the globe.

With locations in Halifax, L3 contributes to training and In-Service Support of the CH-148 Cyclone helicopter, the CP140 Aurora fleet, the Halifax Class Frigate, and the Victoria-Class submarine.  

CH 148 support includes the management and operation of the following services: Material and Warehouse, Support and Test Equipment, Tool Control, Technical Support of the Maintenance Management System, and the Support and Monitoring of the Integrated Information Environment.

As the Operational Weapon System Support (OWSS) manager for the CP140 Aurora, L3 has consistently been recognized for its performance supporting avionics and mission systems.

L3 operates several land-based training systems at the Canadian Forces Fleet School including a machinery control room for the Halifax-Class Frigate, a fire detection and maintenance trainer, and an autopilot maintenance trainer for the Victoria Class submarine.  As part of the Halifax-class Frigate In-Service support contract, we offer Spares Management and Field Service representatives on the East coast for ships, trainers, software support and more.

L3 contributes to the CP140 mission with our WESCAM line of advanced Electro-Optic/Infrared (EO/IR), laser imaging and targeting systems that provide unparalleled image stability and long-range detection capability.
