Charles Richer, Chair of the Atlantic Canada Aerospace and Defence Association issued the following comments further to the Hon. Judy Foote’s Resignation from the Public Services and Procurement Portfolio within the federal cabinet:

“ACADA extends its appreciation to Minister Judy Foote for her long-standing commitment to   her Newfoundland constituents, our Atlantic sector and the Canadian business community. Her dedication to and advancement of public policy in partnership with Industry is recognized as a characteristic of her leadership style while executing her Ministerial duties.  On behalf of the Board and Membership I would like to acknowledge Minister Foote’s exemplary career and wish her the very best as she commences this next phase of her life. We congratulate and look forward to working with the Honourable Carla Qualtrough, her successor on all matters of mutual interest.”
