Stepscan Technologies of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, hosted an open house event June 19, 2018, to celebrate settling into their new office space. The new 3,500 square foot office, located near the Charlottetown airport, brings all the company’s operations- manufacturing, engineering, marketing, sales, and administration- under one roof.
The open house brought together members of the business, academic, and science communities of PEI and Atlantic Canada with representatives from organizations such as ACADA, ACOA, PEI BioAlliance, EmerGence Bioscience Incubator, UPEI, and Holland College. Demonstrations of Stepscan’s technology were offered and members of Stepscan’s team were present to answer questions. The evening highlighted both Stepscan’s turnkey medical device, the Stepscan® Gait Analysis System, and the newer motion tracking application for their tiles which has gained interest from both the sport and military fields.
