The Atlantic Canada Aerospace and Defence Association (ACADA) invites suitably qualified event management firms to respond to this Call for Proposals for the provision of support services related to three (3) upcoming virtual events.
The COVID-19 pandemic has created challenges and voids for Atlantic Canadian Aerospace and Defence companies wishing to develop new export markets and clients. Some of the Aerospace and Defence planned missions for this fiscal year have either been cancelled or moved to the fall of 2020 or later, which has forced the Association, partners and members of this industry to seek alternative plans to develop new market opportunities.
ACADA, with the support of industry partners and its members, will be hosting 3 regional events: Sea to Sky conference on August 12, ADS Expo Atlantic 2020 on September 29-30, and MASS on November 4-5 using virtual technologies. Instead of meeting physically, which cannot happen this year because of COVID-19, companies will connect using an on-line platform to meet and develop new markets opportunities.
The successful bidder will provide a broad range of support services including;
- Negotiation of appropriate software solution(s)
- Selection and management of software solution
- Video production for pre-recorded videos
- Provide pre-event training for staff and attendees
- On-the-day event execution and troubleshooting
