ACADA is providing support to SMEs (1-500 employees) in the Aerospace, Defence, and Security industries to achieve industry certifications and accreditations. This program aims to assist SMEs in remaining competitive and maintaining market access with funding.
Our members indicated they need help covering the cost of various certifications and accreditations which they work towards to remain competitive and maintain market access. ACADA is here to help in covering 65% of project costs up to the maximum of $30,000 project for five of our core members! Plus, the funding is flexible up to the maximum amount. For example, if you have $10,000 budgeted for certification and accreditation this year, ACADA can cover $6,500 of that total under this program.

There are many certifications available and required for organizations in the industry. Some eligible certification programs include:
Approved projects will be cost-shared between ACADA and the SME. The maximum project cost supported is $30,000, of which the SME will pay 35% and ACADA will pay 65%. Projects can be any cost up to the maximum of $30,000 in funding.
The program is flexible and intended to be a real help to SMEs in ACADA’s core membership. Applications will be accepted until January 31, 2024, or until such time as the five (5) SMEs are chosen. We will complete an initial review and selection on September 25, 2023, so we encourage members to apply early to be considered. If funding remains available after this date, further applications will be accepted.
