The following outlines the 2024-25 Program and is subject to change. ACADA is in the process of revising program requirements. Updated details will be available upon the 2025 Program launch in November.

Program Objective
The Atlantic Canada Aerospace & Defence Association (ACADA), with the support of the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA), is introducing the Greening & ESG Initiative (“the Program”) to support Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) within the Aerospace, Defence, and Security industries.
The Greening & ESG Initiative aims to assist SMEs in developing eco-responsible products, processes, and market entry strategies by providing expertise and tools to minimize environmental impact throughout the product life cycle.
Eligible Companies
To qualify for the Program, companies must meet the criteria outlined in the program guidelines.
Project Costs
The minimum project cost to qualify is $5,000. Approved projects will be cost-shared between ACADA and the SME. The maximum project cost eligible for support is $15,000, with the SME responsible for 35% of the total cost.
For example a project with a total cost of $10,000, the SME’s portion would be $3,500.

Environmental Product Design
Sustainable Process Development
Green Data Management
Employee Engagement through Climate Commitment
Market Entry with ESG Focus
Emissions Reduction Plans
Other project deliverables discussed with individual SME (to be approved by ACADA).
