Founder and President Caron Hawco brings over two decades of leadership experience across stakeholder relations, project development, public affairs, and socio-economic strategy. Her proven track record spans the offshore petroleum industry, renewable energy transition, cleantech commercialization, and international market development.
Industry Leadership
Caron held management roles with Statoil Canada (Equinor) and has advised multiple offshore petroleum projects including Terra Nova, Hebron, Hibernia, and White Rose in the areas of government relations, local content, public affairs, and commercial negotiations. She has also consulted extensively for leading international contractors such as Noble Drilling, Aker Solutions, and Kvaerner.
In the clean energy and innovation sectors, Caron provides strategic counsel on wind-to-hydrogen development, underground energy storage, cleantech market access, supply chain readiness, extensive stakeholder engagement planning and economic diversification initiatives.
Her leadership extends to serving on over 15 boards, demonstrating a strong commitment to sustainability, economic development, and innovation. She currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Hydrogen Association, COVE (Centre for Ocean Ventures and Entrepreneurship) and the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador’s Women in Natural Resources Committee.
