DMI is a full service Machine Shop specializing in Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Mill and Lathe technologies. With over 35 years of combined experience manufacturing components for industries such as Subsea, Oil and Gas, Marine, and Aerospace; the team of experts at DMI take pride in delivering quality service with fast turnarounds. The team consists of Machinists and Manufacturing Technologists, who meet the manufacturing needs of a wide range of clients. The services provided include, but are not limited to: 3-D Surface Machining, Research and Development, Prototype Construction, Part Design, general Machine Shop and Production work.
History:
DMI is a 100% Newfoundland & Labrador owned and operated company that was established as a part-time business in 2001. As the amount of work steadily increased, DMI became a fulltime operation in 2007. To keep up with the demands for its services and compete effectively in the marketplace, DMI acquired additional staff, machines and relocated to a larger, more accessible, location situated between Donovan and St. Anne’s Industrial Parks. Skilled workers, sophisticated technology, efficient turn-around times, and a high level of customer satisfaction all testify to DMI’s ability to establish themselves as a leader in their industry.
DMI is operated out of a 3800 ft² steel structure building located amongst two of the busiest industrial parks in Newfoundland. The facility consists of 800 ft² of office space and 2800 ft² of machine shop, equipped with the latest in CNC and conventional machine tools.
