Founded in 2001, Tronos is an aircraft leasing, major modification centre and aircraft maintenance services provider, as well as an Advanced Manufacturer utilizing metallic additive manufacturing.
Tronos has owned over 65 BAe 146/Avro RJ aircraft over the years and also trades engines and spare parts for the type. With an EASA and Transport Canada/FAA approved Aircraft Maintenance organization (AMO), located in Prince Edward Island, Canada, Tronos handles both routine and heavy maintenance and modifications on our own fleet and for third parties.
In the Fall of 2016, Tronos opened a new manufacturing facility located in the Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. This facility is state of the art and is the first commercial Additive Manufacturing facility in Eastern Canada, utilizing 3 metallic 3D printers, as well as 3 and 5 axis CNC equipment. Bringing over 30 years of experience in the Aerospace and related manufacturing environment and utilizing the latest in Solidworks CAD software coupled with NextGen CAM software, Tronos is able to offer a number of solutions for all kinds of machining and manufacturing needs.
