What You Do

An Aircraft Maintenance Engineer performs some or all of the following duties:

  • Troubleshoot aircraft structural, mechanical or hydraulic systems to identify problems and adjust and repair systems according to specifications, technical drawings, manuals and established procedures
  • Install or modify aircraft engines, mechanical, hydraulic, flight control, fuel and pneumatic systems
  • Perform and document scheduled and unscheduled maintenance as per Transport Canada requirements
  • Dismantle airframes, aircraft engines or other aircraft systems for repair, overhaul, cleaning, and reassemble
  • Repair and overhaul aircraft structural, mechanical or hydraulic systems

What You Need

  • Ability to perform under pressure
  • Sound troubleshooting skills and good analytical skills
  • Strong interest in learning and respecting procedures.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (English/French)
  • Ability to interpret technical instructions and drawings
