Atlantic Aerospace & Defence Connector (AADC)

ACADA, in partnership with Springboard Atlantic, is excited to announce our upcoming Atlantic Aerospace and Defence Connector (AADC), taking place Wednesday, February 7, 2024 from 2pm-5pm at Volta in Halifax, NS.

The AADC is designed to create opportunities for research collaboration between industry and academia. Industry will present on the areas with which they would like to partner with academia to leverage expertise, while academia will present on areas that institutions are seeking industry partners to take research into the world.

This year’s event will explore the themes of Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Resilience, and Remotely-piloted Systems and Autonomous Technologies, and how industry and academia can work together in these areas.

The event will kick off with a keynote presentation from Jennifer LaPlante, Chief Growth Officer and Investment at Canada’s Ocean Supercluster, followed by 12 rapid-fire presentations (six industry, six academia), with ample opportunities for networking and demonstrations throughout. We hope to see you there!
