As announced at CANSEC 2023, the Government of Canada will introduce mandatory cyber security requirements in select defence contracts through the forthcoming Canadian Program for Cyber Security Certification (CP-CSC), designed to mirror the U.S. DoD’s CMMC program. Join program representatives from Public Services and Procurement Canada, National Defence, Standards Council of Canada, and the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security who will provide insights on the program, explore key intricacies of program implementation, and engage in discussion on your feedback and key considerations.

PSPC-Washington Office is leading the development and implementation of the CP-CSC program.

The Standards Council of Canada is developing the assessment and audit criteria.

The Canadian Centre for Cyber Security is adapting the NIST 800 171 and NIST 800 172 standards to the Canadian environment and will provide an overview of the support they will provide to Canadian defence companies.
