January 25th, 2022: (Halifax, NS) Immersive digital twin provider Modest Tree Media Inc. is pleased to announce that Emily Smits, Co-founder and current Chief Operating Officer, has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Modest Tree Media Inc.
Emily Smits brings over a decade of experience as part of the executive team at Modest Tree and is a well respected thought leader in immersive enterprise solutions. Founder and current CEO, Sam Sannandeji, will be moving into the role of Chief Technology Innovation Officer (CTIO) to lead product development and innovation at Modest Tree.
Modest Tree has its roots in providing immersive training, and has expanded to a global provider of software and services to help manufacturers digitalize their operations and field services, leveraging immersive applications.

Over the past year Modest Tree has expanded its software and services offerings to support industry by increasing capabilities to create 3D training from enterprise technical manuals, connect IoT and condition based monitoring data to a digital twin of an asset, deliver encrypted remote support for field service–and use Modest Tree’s Asset Pipeline software for data driven operations, streamlining data ingestion and ensuring data integrity for immersive digital twins.
Modest Tree continues to expand its operations, adding new personnel to our Atlantic Canada and European locations, and recently opened an office in Orlando, Florida to support our US clients on the delivery of immersive technical training and the digitalization of their field service support on their physical assets.
